Waking From The Trance

Life is strange and full of irony. While researching my next chapter on MK-Ultra (the M-K stands for the German, Mind Kontrolle), I came across Congressional Testimony and countless personal affidavits which match your worst nightmare of what is possible. I'll get around to that later. But, here's the "irony" part:

As I am writing this story, humanity is perched on the edge of the abyss. The MK-Ultra Program, and others, have lead us all to a very present danger of war that will kill more people than a stadium full of trained assassins or amnesic spies. The attempt is being made to blindly drive our aggression and hate towards a country and people about whom most people know nothing.

It's classic Bernay's public relations and marketing. First they mock the enemy and misrepresent their message. Then they appeal to your deeply-rooted fears, repeating the message over and over, building up to what ad men call the "call to action". In marketing, this is usually where you tell the consumer to "Call Now!" or "Order Now!" In this case, it's "Bomb the hell out of them!"

If you think I am being too dramatic, just read some blogs about Iran and the current conflicts in the Strait of Hormuz, where the US and Iranian Navy are playing chicken. The PR campaign has locked in solid support for another war among the non-thinkers. And that's unfortunately enough of a consensus to pull this war off.

Iran's president Ahmadinejad has been vilified as a mad-man and Jew-hater, bent on the destruction of Israel through his alleged warhead manufacturing site, somewhere in remote underground bunkers.

This is classic unconscious irrationality: the solution to preventing this perceived nuclear threat is to bomb over 100 nuclear sites in that sovereign nation.

"Wipe Israel off the map!"

For years we have heard the mantra, "Ahmadinejad said he wants to wipe Israel off the map." This is the equivalent to Wheaties' "Breakfast of Champions" or "Good to the last drop!" for Maxwell House coffee. It's a tagline or slogan that is effective when repeated, regardless of its veracity.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."
-- Joseph Goebbels, German Minister of Propaganda, 1933-1945

So here is the exact speech everyone is supposedly quoting:

"Our dear Imam (referring to Ayatollah Khomeini) said that the occupying regime must be wiped off the map and this was a very wise statement. We cannot compromise over the issue of Palestine. Is it possible to create a new front in the heart of an old front. This would be a defeat and whoever accepts the legitimacy of this regime has in fact, signed the defeat of the Islamic world. Our dear Imam targeted the heart of the world oppressor in his struggle, meaning the occupying regime. I have no doubt that the new wave that has started in Palestine, and we witness it in the Islamic world too, will eliminate this disgraceful stain from the Islamic world." --[source]

As you can see, Ahmadinejad was quoting Ayatollah Khomeini and was referring to the current Zionist regime -- the same folks that are behind this war effort -- not Jews and not the country of Israel. Please do not confuse Zionism with Judaism. You can research this yourself on the web. It is not anti-semitic to be against an organized global power structure that is attempting to bring us to a nuclear destruction. Many Jews also oppose this conflict.

Iran is a peaceful country. It came into the fray because of the mis-treatment of Palestinians by the Zionist regime that currently controls Israel. I won't hold back my words -- there have been some atrocities committed against the Palestinians that come very near to being unforgivable. That's of record. Yet, even when there is proof of these atrocities, the US government has always vetoed any condemnation in the United Nations. Frequently they are the only nation to do so. Why? This has caused the Iranian government to look out for the interests of the Palestinians, since no one else seems to care about them.

Like the fictitious Gulf of Tonkin attack and Iraq's WMDs, the current nuclear "threat" will need a trigger event for US intervention. Already US troops are on the ground inside Israel. A defensive attack by Iran, following some kind of instigation, will most certainly cause US military casualties and these "scapegoats" will become the cause célebre of direct US involvement. It's classic stuff being played out again -- Iraq Redux.

Right now, tensions in the Strait of Hormuz are heating up. We could be days or hours away from some irrational act which will, for those in power, reduce the population of "useless eaters" (a quote used by Henry Kissinger) and move a step closer to a New World Order.

According to psychoanalytic theory, humans are irrational beings whose unconscious drives require control by the elite. Just re-read this series from the beginning. It will all make sense.

Learn how you are being controlled. Wake up from the trance. There's still time (I hope).

COMMENTS:

Just today there was a lead story on CNN saying that Obama announced a plan for a re-design of the government, making it more "consumer friendly"... huh? What happened to "citizen friendly" of even "people friendly"! Thanks Bernays! And thanks for such a good article.

While I really think the war is to prevent the end of the Bourse and prop up the dying dollar, the sales job you describe is true. It would surely be strange if we woke up one morning to discover there has been a nuke exchange and the radioactive clouds are drifting our way... or that gas went up to $10/gallon... or that China enters the conflict to protect her oil supplies and investments in Iran... likewise Russia... seems like a no win end game to me.

Yes. We have been asleep for sure while all this stuff got to where it is right now. We are to blame really. But we sure are going to wake up quick and very soon I think.

I think it is all just fear for fears sake. Nothin going to happen, watch. Just a distraction from political elections and campaigns.
