Hello, First the woman's head jerks back in such a way that her injuries are not visible on the film. I don't think that action would result in such perfectly hidden wound. Second, the liquid that splashes onto the wall seems to be just that....liquid. If this were real I think you would see things like bone, flesh, hair and brain matter along with the liquid blood. Kay
No, it is fake. If you look at the wall behind her, you can see streaks on the wall that have been cleaned off from practicing this scene. But the obvious is the blood pattern that sprays on the wall and how much of it there is. Totaly staged. tink1166g Hi, I just stumbled onto the view zone web site, and was enjoying the diversity of links when I found the link to the sn_ff page. the reason I call it sn_ff is so this email doesn't get flagged. In case someone is monitoring the net, like that happens. OK, so I checked out your woman being shot with a pistols video. I have seen better on film. I would have to say the video is a fake. here is a list of reasons. -There were no chunks of matter against the wall. - The Blood splatter on the wall is too confined to the area it covers. Not enough holes and spatter. - The angle of the back of her head( pointing down, chin up) as the first impact of blood hits the wall is not correct . The blood impact angle is about a 30-40 degrees. when her head is at a -30-40 degrees angle. -The Pistol does not have enough kick (recoil) and flash fire. - Her face has no flash burns/powder burns. - The trajectory of her head would be flung forward do to the thrust exiting the back of her head. - The shadow against the wall doesn't move with the shadow of the gunman/gunwoman properly. - There is no forward splatter of the entry wound unto the gun, hand, arm of man/woman. - And the worst of all, is the crappy compositing of the entry wound/HOLE on the forehead. The wound actually doesn't even move with the head. If you export the frames, or slow down the play to frame by frame, you can see this. The Hole looks like a bad airbrush tool in Photoshop. There is no depth to the hole. With the light in the room, there would be highlights within the hole. I could pick it apart more. The quality isn't that great, which is why you could fool someone. They blame it on a digital camera. Anyways, there is a 1% chance it could be real, but I my opinion it is a B movie, with B movie effects. I enjoyed your article about sn_ff on the web. I enjoyed it only as a educational learning tool. Not as a pleasure enjoyment. Have fun, keep up the great work! jOnathOn I agree about the blood spray. I watched a video of an actual suicide a long time ago... can't remember the guys name but he was in a meeting being televised live. I'm thinking it was of a political nature. Anyway... he reached into a paper bag, pulled out a gun, stuck it in his mouth and pulled the trigger. Not only did he blow the back of his head off... the blood instantly poured from his nose as if someone hooked up a garden hose. The video shown here...... not one single drop of blood fell from her nose. And besides... if someone was going to blow my head off, and I knew it, and was scared.. I don't think I would be saying.. "Snuff movies are not real!" It would be more like... screaming my head off, and frantically thrashing around to break free... that is human nature. I would like to know how it was done... really cool effects... fer sher!! What do YOU think? Send comments to myristicin@hotmail.com
