The Aztec Quetzalcoatl - a Hindu Priest?

By Gene D. Matlock

Every world-class religion on earth except one either directly or indirectly recognizes the sun as God or the vehicle by which God nourishes and energizes mankind. But their recognition of the sun as God or his messenger isn't the only reality binding them together as essentially the same religion but clad in different clothing.

These religions preach that God periodically sends an "only begotten of the Unbegotten" son to mankind occasionally, to remind us humans that we aren't alone "out there" and that only our respective physical sheaths, not us, die. The real "us," complete with thoughts, ambitions, abilities, propensities, dreams and feelings, even erotic feelings, lives on, waiting for the opportunity to hitch a ride in a new physical body.

Next, the myths about these celestial emissaries state that they are usually born of virgins.

Although most of them are born in different socio-economic classes and in different nations, all of them share in common similar life experiences-so much so that those who study the lives of the "sun gods" claim that all their life experiences and behaviors are plagiarisms of one another. For example, the lives of such divine saints as Jesus Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Apollo, the Turkish Dionysius, the Hindu Dyaus Nahusha (Dionysius), Hermes Trismigestus, Indra, etc., appear to be too nearly identical to be a mere coincidence. These "similarities" are tailor-made for atheists and so-called "scientists."

Christian atheists and "scientists" love to point out that Christ, Apollo, and Krishna never existed as individuals and that the Christ and Apollo myths evolved from Krishna or viceversa.

Although these saviors appear to have led identical lives, each of them was born in a separate country identifiable on any map. Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem; Apollo in Pataya, Bulgaria; Dionysius in Capadoccia, Turkey; the Hindu Dyaus Nahusha (Dionysius) in India; Buddha in Nepal; Hermes Trismigestus in Egypt; Indra in Tibet; Krishna in the land of Haran, India, the same birthplace of our Abraham.

Are you surprised to learn that Abraham's Haran was not Eski-Charran, Iraq, as we have been wrongly taught? "Hara" is a name of India's God Krishna. Krishna ruled a port city called Dwarka, on the west coast of today's Indian state of Gujarat. His tiny principality was called Haran (Abode of Hara). An earthquake or similar disaster caused Dwarka to sink under the sea. After Haran sank under water, Abraham and his half-sister Sarah went to the Middle East.

Here's another biblical anomaly. India's God Brahm was married to his half-sister Sarai-svati, the Goddess of Learning. The names Brahm and Sarais-vati are strangely similar to those of the biblical Abraham and his half-sister wife Sarai. Brahm-Sarai-svati = Abraham-Sarah? Some Hindu authorities say that after his crucifixion, subsequent death and after his resurrection, Krishna went to Iraq and later to Jerusalem..

Each of these fleshly "begotten sons of the Unbegotten" came to earth to teach mankind the path to redemption. But in the end, they were usually crucified on crosses, posts, or trees. After their crucifixion, they returned to their physical sheaths before being taken back to their Unbegotten Father, the sun-as proof that mankind can always be sure of enjoying eternal life. In short, they pardoned and guaranteed redemption to the very people who wanted them dead!

All of them taught that besides the sun, mankind should worship the most powerful religious symbol in all creation-the cross. The word "cross" derives from the names of the first people to bring it to mankind: the Turks Aryans (Ari) or Kurus. Their cross was the Celtic cross. They also adored another symbol of a tau-like cross in the shape of a double-headed eagle: the Krishta. This word Christ (Krishta) did not derive from Greek as we have been wrongly taught, but from Turkish.

[Right: A being half eagle and half man, stands with its wings outstretched.] Two bird heads emerge to the left and right, but in the centre is the head of a bearded man in a nimbus of light (Christ figure). Attached to the wings are two human hands held up to show the wounds of the Crucifixion. Behind this image of Christ as eagle, a naked king stands, his arms outstreched as if to help support the Christ-eagle.

The Turkish peoples of Central Asia have always claimed to be the progenitors of every civilization on earth. From Adam until the time of the Great Flood in the Altai region of Siberia, they called themselves "Pancha (Five) Krishtaya (Kuru Leaders)," the five original races of mankind. They also called themselves Krishtihan (Conquerors). I have mentioned this before in my other recent articles. For confirmation of this, consult rhe Online Sanskrit Lexicon.

According to them, any civilization or religion which neglects worshiping the sun and adoring the cross, or any religion rejecting if outright, for whatever reason, will eventually cannibalize itself and disappear from the earth.

Right now, the Catholic Church, to which I belong, is concerned about the growing competition it faces with the Protestant sects in this country. It is steadily losing ground. Our Catholic leaders are trying to re-invigorate the Church by re-educating us in matters of ritual and doctrine, encouraging loud evangelical type singing and clapping, explaining why we must have abundant standing and kneeling (which we call Catholic physical education), and defending the rights of "illegal aliens" from Latin America to establish residence in this country.

According to the 16th century Dominican priest, Giordano Bruno (1548-1600 AD), when a civilization and/or religion abandons the worship of the sun and the cross, mankind degenerates. When humanity falls to the bottom of the barrel, only sun worship and the cross can lift him up again. For preaching that, the Church had him burned alive at the stake. However, afterwards, it regretted having killed him. Small comfort for Father Bruno.

The world religions that sprang from Krishtaya or Krishtihan either worshiped the sun itself, the cross, or both, in any order.

In the Roman Catholic Church, we normally adore the crucifix with Christ nailed to it. However, we also adore a monstrance or sun symbol. The monstrance is supposed to be the real image of Christ. During the mass in which the monstrance is exhibited, the presiding priest is often dressed in a vestment having a sun symbol embroidered on the front.

In Judaism, the Mogen David symbolizes the Sun. However, the Tau or T-shaped cross is also important in cabalistic religious practices.

When the Spaniards first went to the Americas, they noticed that all the American Indians, without exception, worshiped some form of cross or crosses.

Above: The Mayan cross is still used, exactly as it existed in pre-Hispanic times. The Church still accepts it.

The Aztecs told the Spaniards that in centuries past, a divine priest called Quetzalcoatl visited them from a foreign land. A bearded White man, he wore a robe with cross symbols embroidered on the front. This anomaly caused the Spaniards to believe that this stranger had been a castaway Viking priest, St. Thomas, St. Brendon or some other foreign Christian holy man. Even the Mormons teach that Christ visited Mexico after his crucifixion. Had they been willing to take seriously the Aztec legends about Quetzalcoatl's origins, they would have known immediately that Quetzalcoatl was a Hindu priest who told the Toltec or Nahuatl-speaking people exactly where he was from.

Quetzalcoatl said that he had lived in two places in his homeland: Tlapallan and Huapalcalli. (See Angel Mar’a Garibay's Llave del Nahuatl (Key to Nahuatl). Both of these places can be found in any map of India, and "smack-dab" in the center of the country.

TLA derived from the Sanskrit TALA. meaning "surface" or "Upper World. (The Eastern Hemisphere)." Pallin or Pallan (Skt. Ruler; King of) was the original name of the present-day Indian state of Bihar. In those days, the capital of Bihar was the ancient city of Paliputra, the site of the third Buddhist conference, about 247 BC.. Paliputra eventually sank under water. The present city of Patna is the capital of Bihar. In Sanskrit, Pala/Pali = Protector; Ruler. Putra = Son of Hari (the Sun). Son of Vishnu. In other words, Putra means "The Begotten Son of the Unbegotten".

Quetzalcoatl was also a "Putra." The Toltecs or Nahuatl-speaking people could not pronounce "L." Therefore, he was called "Ixi-Ptla." (X pronounced like SH). It meant "image; idol; representation or skin of a god." (See Garibay's Llave del Nahuatl). In Sanskrit, ISH or ISHA was the name of God Shiva.

The reader may want to point out that Shiva and Vishnu are different names. But they are not. Shiva and Vishnu are the same gods. The reversal of Vish is Shiv. Nu = Noah.

The Toltecs could not pronounce "B." Therefore "Huapalcalli" was really "Bopalcalli," meaning "Home of Bopal." Even in Sanskrit, Kula, a word similar to Calli, means "residence; home." Huapalcalli = Bopalkula.

Are all these similarities just a quaint coincidence?

We know that Quetzalcoatl was associated with God Vishnu because of the eagle (Garuda) with a snake (Naga) in its beak.

Evidently, Quetzalcoatl was a Naga or member of India's major commercial sailing caste. According to the Hindu holy books, the Nagas (snakes) settled in America, brought here by God Vishnu's Eagle Garuda, carrying them in its beak.

When the Aztecs journeyed to what is now Mexico City, The eagle with a snake in its mouth led the way. When it settled on Lake Texcoco, the Aztecs made their final home there. Even today, the eagle with a snake in its beak, a symbol of Vishnu, graces the Mexican flag.

Even the Hindu holy books speak of Quetzalcoatl. Back in India he was known as the superior god Dyaus-Nahusha (Dionysius), This god was well-versed in the arts of civilization. All the gods admired him. One day, the gods decided that he should become emperor of heaven. Dionysius at first objected. Like the Greek gods, even Hindu gods had human faults. Dionysius protested, saying that he was plagued by certain weaknesses of character, such as his love of women and liquor, He pleaded with them to elect Indra, who at one time had been crucified on a cross, as the king of Heaven. The gods told Dionysius to accept this honor, saying they were certain that he would be conscientious enough to conquer his priapic cravings and thirst for fine alcoholic beverages. Dionysius finally relented. But after becoming king of heaven, his lust and craving for liquor got the better of him. He got drunk and raped the wife of Indra and that of a philosopher-saint named Agastya.

The enraged Agastya used his magic to turn Dionysius into a Naga, ordering Garuda to take him to Patala. I assume he was exiled to Patala because the Nagas had been sent there. In reality, Dionysius just boarded a Naga ship bound for Mexico.

Dionysius, whom I'll now call Quetzalcoatl (Plumed Serpent), first settled in what are now the ruins of Tula, Hidalgo.

Upon his arrival in Mexico, the people were basically uncivilized and lacking in every aspect of culture. He decided to teach them the arts of civilization. He was also horrified to note that they sacrificed victims to the sun.

Quetzalcoatl told the Mexicans that if they wanted to sacrifice, they should just sacrifice snakes, butterflies, and flowers. Better still, he said, they should voluntarily sacrifice themselves, such as drawing blood from their tongues, ears, penises and other bodily parts with nopal cactus spines. To prove his sincerity, Quetzalcoatl lashed himself to a St. Andrews Cross and burnt himself alive. In the Mayan version of Kukulkan, he lashed himself to a plain cross.

Right: Kukulkan fastened to his cross.

When he returned to life, whole and unburnt, the priests realized that they had to discredit him and convince the people that only human hearts were acceptable to the sun.

It goes without saying that one of the things Quetzalcoatl had taught the Toltecs was the art of making a fine liquor out of the Century (Maguey) plant, called pulque.

One night, the priests encouraged him to imbibe a great quantity of his own home brew. True to his weak character, Quetzalcoatl enthusiastically agreed. According to the legends about Quetzalcoatl, he then raped either his sister or his daughter.

Quetzalcoatl's incest did not endear him with the Toltecs. They banished him from Mexico. Quetzalcoatl left Mexico on a raft of snakes, off the coast of southeastern Veracruz, near the mountain Citlaltepetl (Mt. Orizaba).

[Right: Quetzalcoatl leaving Mexico on his raft or snakes.] In reality, the raft of snakes was just a Hindu ship with a prow in the form of a snake. Quetzalcoatl vowed to return to Mexico some day and re-establish his claim to the throne of Mexico.

If we could return to the past to peer inside the temples dedicated to Quetzalcoatl, we would see that they were devoted entirely to the cult of the cross.

I am particularly intrigued by the partially excavated archeological ruins of Calixtlahuaca in the Valley of Toluca, Mexico, near Mexico City. These impressive ruins justify my conviction that Mexico is the mystery center of North America. Calixtlahuaca was a ceremonial center dedicated to the worship of Quetzalcoatl. Furthermore, Because the Nahuatl-speaking peoples couldn't pronounce "R," most people overlook the fact that CALIXT is really KRISHTA, the Turkic word for the double-headed eagle; their symbol for the sun god. As a matter of fact, clay stamps of the Krishta have been found in Calixtlahuaca. Words similar to "Huaca," such as Vac, Bak, etc. connote a sacred place in nearly all Amerindian societies, extending from Arizona down to and including South America. It probably derives from the Sanskrit Bhaga, meaning "deity or place."

[Right: A stamp of a Krishta found at Calixtlahuaca.] The ruins themselves show the devotion that the Matlatzinca branch of Toltecs had for worshiping the sun and the cross.

In the following pictures, we see the main temple dedicated to sun worship. Directly in front of it, is a small cruciform shrine that is an Egyptian Ankh. But that isn't all, Archeologists even dug up a terracotta head of an ancient Roman in Calixtlahuaca. Since Calixtlahuaca is only partially excavated, many other buried artifacts, guaranteed to startle the world, are still waiting for their turn to be uncovered.

If you think this world is presently in terrible shape, what would it be like if mankind didn't worship the sun and the cross? Could it be true that the sun is the real god of all mankind? Is the cross symbol a message from some unknown power, telling us that we aren't alone in this troubled old world?

You decide.
