"Peace's lyrics say the things we would all like to say to our "main squeeze," sometimes straight forward, sometimes with a story or metaphor. He plays acoustic and electric guitars, piano, bass and drums, combining with layers of vocals and synthetic lush dreamy echoes. Peace weaves a tapestry of textures that lets the listener relax and sail away to utopia. . .
A must have for true "Music Lovers."

The evening is set— candle-lit dinner, the perfect wine, a roaring fire and the ideal companion. All you need to make the night complete is a copy of Looking Through My Eyes, a new release by recording artist, Mike Peace.

Looking Through My Eyes is a collection of some of Mike's favorite original songs, as well as a few collaborations, with an underlying theme of "Love and Inspiration."

Peace started his music career in high school in a band called Atilla and the Huns. They produced their first record on the SARA record label. Cheryl, backed with the Lonely Huns sold over 2,000 copies in their homeland of Central Wisconson. After meeting Lenny LaCour, the Huns were convinced to change their name and sign a contract for four 45's and an LP. The band, now known as "Fillet of Soul," went on to find international success, recording five albums and eleven 45's (some which are now collector's items.)

During the Fillet of Soul years, the band rubbed elbows with some of the show biz greats, like Mick Jagger, Sonny & Cher, Sammy Davis, Jr., Jimmy Rogers— the list goes on.

When the band broke up in the eighties, Mike, then billed as "The One Peace Band," continued to perform on his own in resorts and night clubs, playing guitar and singing with his own musical back-up tapes.

. The liner of Looking Through My Eyes contains comments by Mike's good friend, and former drummer, actor Michael Groh:

"What makes Mike truly remarkable, is the fact that he is totally self taught. . .You may be truly astonished when you realize that what you are hearing is the work of only one person. Mike enjoys writing songs and then orchestrating them by playing all the instruments, using a multi-track recorder to blend the individual parts into one finished composition. To these recordings he adds his own voice with lead and harmonies. Mike plays: Guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, synthesizer, trumpet, and harmonica. Having had the pleasure of working with Mike as the drummer in his band for over ten years, I can attest to the fact that he is a truly talented musician. These songs are some of his best works and they are sure to become some of your all time favorites"

"I Wanna Tell You," from Looking Through My Eyes, is currently #19, and climbing, in the Classic Rock category on MP3.com (samples available on the site). You can purchase the CD at CDBaby.com. Buy it now— this collection is one you definately won't want to miss.
